Flash Sale On PS4 Games Is Now Live On The PlayStation Store

October 13, 2018 0 By admin

It’s been a while since the last one, but this weekend Sony is running a flash sale on the PlayStation Store. That’s in addition to the standard weekly sale that’s also going on now (and the PS4 deals available elsewhere). These deals are available for everyone, regardless of whether you have a PS Plus account, so check out the list of discounts and see if you can find something you want. They go back to regular price on October 15.

On sale for $45 is Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Lara Croft’s latest outing that emphasizes some of the best parts of the previous two entries–namely the combat and puzzle tombs, with adjustable difficulty settings for each. Racing game fans who wish they could play the Microsoft exclusive Forza Horizon 4 can pick up The Crew 2 for $36 this weekend instead. It lets you switch between land, air, and sea vehicles as you race across the US.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey might be all the rage right now, but you’ll probably want to play through Assassin’s Creed Origins ($30) first. That way you’ll see the beginning of the present-day story line that continues in Odyssey. And a pair of boundary-pushing RPGs are also on sale, with South Park: The Stick of Truth ($15) and South Park: The Fractured but Whole ($21).

It’s not just blockbuster games that are on sale in this weekend’s PS4 flash sale, either–some excellent smaller titles are also represented. You can pick up Donut County for $10 if controlling an all-consuming hole sounds appealing. Dead Cells is a stylish roguelike side-scroller that’s on sale for $20. And if you want to put your platforming skills to the test, try Guacamelee 2, which is currently down to $16.

You’ll find more of our picks below, or you can feast your eyes on the full set of flash sale discounts here.
